Schedule

8.45am

  • Be ready for start of camp

  • Enter Zoom meeting

  • Have participants/campers on mute

  • Have samples ready (wrap, eye mask, slippers, towel, cucumbers)

  • Have materials ready for demonstration

  • Have water close by

  • Have camper info in case you need to contact a parent by phone

9am

Meet 'n' Greet :

  1. Admit campers to the meeting one at a time and ask them to take out their Welcome Activity. Continue working on "Little Sister Tulip". Continue coloring the doll and clothes on the sheets.

  2. Mute ALL campers then unmute each camper one at a time as you go around the "room" and ask everyone to say their name and a fun fact about themselves (chosen by you, the instructor).

9.20am

  • With campers muted

  • Introduce camp projects

    • Show samples of each item​

    • Explain goals for the week

    • and goals for today

  • CAMP GUIDELINES

9.30am

  • VIDEO "How To Cut Eye Mask"

  • Supplies needed: eye mask front and back, ribbon

  • Campers: cut eye mask front and back

  • VIDEO "Sewing The Eye Mask"

  • Campers: pin and sew eye mask

10.15am 20 MINUTE BREAK (Use this time to help anyone catch up)

10.35am

  • VIDEO "Make A Pompom Necklace"

  • Campers: make necklace

11am

  • VIDEO "Sewing Ribbon On Eye Mask"

  • Campers: sew ribbon on eye mask

  • Campers: color petals on eye mask with markers or stitches (optional)

11.30am WIND DOWN TIME

  • Clean up

  • Prepare for tomorrow

  • Show 'n' Tell - Instructor does Day 1, after this take turns un-muting campers so they can take turns talking about their Show 'n' Tell.

12pm END OF DAY

End Meeting for all (Don't leave meeting open)

  • Make pompom necklace

      Goals for the week

  • To learn how to sew

  • To make a spa day outfit and accessories for a doll

  • To have fun and to make new "virtual" friends
