CAMPERS HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SUPPLY:

  • Markers or colored pencils for coloring

  • Sharpies

  • Fabric Markers (optional)

  • Shell Tie-dye

  • Popsicle Watercolor

  • Friendship Bracelets

Schedule

  • Be ready for start of camp

  • Enter Zoom meeting

  • Have participants/campers on mute

  • Have samples ready

  • Have materials ready for demonstration

  • Have water close by

  • Have camper info in case you need to contact a parent by phone

10am MEET 'n' GREET

​

  1. Greet campers whilst waiting for everyone to join.

  2. Have campers start on their welcome activity (either continue with surf board activity or coloring sheet, or WORDSEARCH -Wordsearch is in box loose)

  3. If you can encourage interaction here between students please do. Ask campers a fun fact about themselves or ask one camper to ask another camper a fun fact about themselves.

11am 15 MINUTE BREAK (Use this time to help anyone catch up)

  • Campers: Stuff pillow and stitch opening closed

  • Campers finished early: insert "made-by" label, embellish pillow or use second pocket and bandaid to free sew

1pm ART ACTIVITY - SHELL TIE DYE

​

​

  • Campers need to open bag labelled "Shell Tie Dye"

  • Includes: 2 shells (wrapped in a paper towel - they should use the paper towel as a protector for the table), a small bottle of rubbing alcohol, a q-tip. Tell the they can also use the brush from the watercolor set - just make sure it's clean and dry.
