We offer two class sizes for the hand sewing girl scouts class. You can either sign up for up to 10 scouts ($300) or up to 15 scouts ($450). The difference in price ensures the correct ratio of teachers to students.

If have already booked a class for up to 10 children but your numbers are increasing, you can add up to 5 extra children here . The cost is $150 extra.

You can book easily online. Select your date and the time, give us some details about your troop and pay for your time slot. Once we receive payment your reservation is confirmed and a confirmation email will be sent to you. We will also be in touch about a week before to get names and final numbers. Please note that your payment secures your slot and is final. There are no refunds for canceled classes. However we may be able to help you reschedule if we have at least 2 week's notice. There are no make up classes. If a child misses a class we will do our best to help them catch up at the next class.

Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will guide your Girl Scout group through a 90 minute class which will go like this:

• First 15 minutes - Intro & Ice-breaker

The instructor will introduce themselves and explain the goals for the class. We will ask each Girl Scout to introduce herself and tell us if she has any sewing experience.

• Next 60 minutes - How to sew

Our instructors will guide the girls through cutting the bookmark, threading a needle, tying a knot, stitching and lock stitch. They should complete the bookmark during this time.

• Last 15 minutes - Clean up/ Show & Tell/ Q&A

​

Students will clean up their work area and to put all sharp pins, needles and scissors away safely. There will be a short "Show & Tell" with each student showing her projects. We will have a short Q & A session where the students may ask our instructors any sewing related questions.

All guests who participate in any of our classes, camps or birthday parties must complete an online waiver form for liability and media usage. If you have booked a class for your scout troop, you will receive an email with a link to the liability/waiver form and you must distribute this to your scouts ahead of the class. If we do not have a waiver on file, then we cannot let the child participate, so please make sure that every child's parent has received it so there is no disappointment.
