Beginner Sewing Classes
Two different classes offered for this age group-
Me and My Doll (Ages 6-10),
Hand Sewing (Ages 6-10)
Ages 6-10
intermediate Sewing
The most important class in the Sew Happy offerings. Intermediate Sewing teaches all of the key skills for both hand and machine sewing. Students will work more indepedently & will begin to have access to machines and the iron. Students will complete one of our signature projects each session --- Charm Square Apron, Personality Pillow, Going Places Tote, or our Sewing Basket.
Ages 8-14
Advanced Sewing Classes
Our advanced sewing class is for students who have completed at least three classes of intermediate sewing and mastered all of the intermediate skills. These classes will vary by season and focus on more difficult skills like upcycling fabrics, creating linings, adding buttonholes, decorative machine stitches, or sewing as art.
