Adult Sewing Classes Are Here!
Are you looking for a new hobby, updating your rusty sewing skills, hoping to learn how to hem and mend or planning to make some clothing or household items?
Try one of our "Beginner Sewing Machine Workshops For Adults" and refresh your skills or start from scratch and have fun learning the lifeskill of sewing! At this class you will make a simple pouch and a pincushion.
After you have learnt the basics (or you may already know how to sew) these are the new programs we are offering for adults:-
"Eco-Sew" - sew earth-friendly projects such as bowl covers, lunch bags and reusable grocery bags.
"Fix It, Mend It" - learn how to sew a button, hem pants or skirts, fix a hole in a seam and hem your jeans leaving the original hem!
"Holiday Sewing" - make some festive decorations or gifts.
"Fun with Zippers" - learn how to insert a zipper and make an adorable pouch for pencils, make-up, you choose!
"Quilt As You Go" - get creative making our "Scrappy Basket" and learn this fun quilting method.
These 3 hour workshops take place at our new location, 154 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
